Mixed terrain race: a fast, flat and traffic-free route along the cycle path from Castle Semple to towards Kilbarchan. Approx 8k.
Toota-Linn – Tuesday 13th August
Linn Park, Simshill, Glasgow G44 5TA
Scenic trail race on softcore, trails and tarmac paths in the park. Has some undulations. Approx 7k
Dumbarton Dream – Wednesday 14th August
Levengrove Park, Clydeshore Rd, Dumbarton G82 4AE
A two lap race in the park starting and finishing at the War Memorial held on tarmac paths and pavements. Approx 7k
Garscube Gallop – Thursday 15th August
Dawsholm Park, Dalsholm Road, Glasgow G20 0TB
Held within this Glasgow park, the route is a couple of laps on mainly soft trails in the wooded surroundings. No technical sections, but some gentle climbs and descents. Approx 7k
Bella Belter – Friday 16th August
Cartha Queens Park RFC, Pollok Country Park, Dumbreck Road, Glasgow G41 4SN
A classic distance (10k) and race to finish the week. Two laps within the park. This traditionally provides an exciting finale to the Tour and attracts many entrants in its own right.
