Balloch to Clydebank

Balloch to Clydebank has now been moved to Sunday 25th March 2018. This change is to avoid other major sporting events and secure police resources to support the organisation of this event. Entries will be opening in the coming days in the form of an entry central link, which will be posted to this website. We thank you for your patience while we have been working to resolve these issues.

GLASGOW UNIVERSITY 5 MILE ROAD RACE

Glasgow University Road Race

The Glasgow University 5 mile road race will be returning on Saturday 17th February 2018 and entries are now open here: https://www.entrycentral.com/event/107955

This historic race is a long-running and popular event on the outskirts of the City of Glasgow. The race starts and finishes in Garscube Sports Complex, following a 2 lap course around quiet roads and paths. A mix of fast flat sections with the odd undulation thrown in makes this a testing and popular course. It has now been officially measured as a 5 mile route.

UPDATE: Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon 2018

We are attempting to arrange a meeting with West Dunbartonshire Council and the local police area commander to discuss traffic control issues relating to the Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon. Once these issues have been resolved, or on Friday 26th January, whichever is earlier, we shall issue a further statement.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
